REJUVINATE ARCHITECTURE IN 2010

Welcome to the new decade.  The Las Vegas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Las Vegas) begins this exciting new era with a renewed commitment to our members to elevate the profession, advance design and the built environment of our communities, increase public awareness and interest in architecture through education and to empower our members to achieve their personal and professional goals. We are dedicated to “Driving Positive Change through the Power of Design.”

Join the AIA Las Vegas Chapter:  Our members are our most valuable asset. Membership categories have been structured to include design professionals from all disciplines and to provide benefits and opportunities for every member.  These categories include AIA (licensed architects), Emeritus AIA, Associate AIA and New Graduate Members at the national, state and local levels;  and Allied Business Partners (individuals), Allied Firm Members and Friends of Architecture at the local level. View the membership categories and select membership level that best fits your needs.

Friends of Architecture is a new level of membership, specifically created for members of the Las Vegas community who appreciate and are interested in architecture and the built environment of their city, but are not employed in the architecture, design or construction fields.  This is a public member category and the benefits include subscription to the FORUM newsletter and the opportunity to attend meetings, lectures and special events in order to learn more about architecture and our community.
Currently, there are more than 500 architects, associates and allied members who have joined AIA Las Vegas in order to build a safer, more beautiful, sustainable and livable community, to advance the profession and to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.

Join us now.

Renew Your Membership:  AIA Las Vegas membership renewals occur at the end of the calendar year, with final payments due by Jan. 31. AIA Architects, Emeritus and Associate AIA members can renew on the aia.org website.  Allied Business Partners, Allied Firm Members and Friends of Architecture can renew online at aialasvegas.org

MDPP – Member Dues Payment Plan:  If renewal presents a financial hardship, please use the Membership Dues Payment Plan, which allows you to renew, keep your membership active and make payments each month against your dues balance.

“AIA is the flower that blooms from the energy of its members.  If membership goes weak, this flower will wilt.  That is why it is critical to empower our forces as the first step.  As AIA Las Vegas jumps into 2010, we will begin with a renewed force, enthusiasm and passion to overcome hurdles and emerge as a powerful resource for the profession…and for our community.” – Deepika Padam, AIA – President, AIA Las Vegas
