AFFORDABLE CONCEPTS, INC. CELEBRATES TWO TOP EXECS EARNING THEIR CERTIFIED HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTOR (CHC) DESIGNATION
Affordable Concepts, Inc. (ACI) recently celebrated the designation of Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) for Arlye Scott Weisheim, Executive Vice President and Nelson Cumana, Vice President. The CHC is a national credential issued by the American Hospital Association (AHA) Certification Center that distinguishes an individual as being among the elite in the critical field of healthcare construction.
To earn the CHC, an individual must satisfy eligibility requirements that incorporate a blend of professional experience and education, agree to adhere to the AHA Professional Standards of Conduct, and pass the CHC Certification Examination. The examination assesses the knowledge required of a competent healthcare construction manager in the areas of industry fundamentals, processes, safety, and financial stewardship. The CHC Program supports the community of healthcare construction professionals and certificants demonstrate their continued development to the profession by maintaining the certification through participation in professional development activities.

KORNEGAY DESIGN, LLC INTRODUCES THE MUNDO SERIES LANDSCAPE CONTAINERS
With the introduction of the Mundo Series the Phoenix-based company now offers nine different planter styles to their product line of finely crafted pre-cast concrete site furnishings.
This series exemplifies the "less is more" philosophy that designer and artist Larry Kornegay often proclaims. He describes the shapes as "elemental forms, which are universally known, and not belonging to one era, culture, or region."
In a departure from the smooth concrete surfaces that Kornegay Design is known to provide, the surface of the Mundo Series reveals the intricate matrix of small rocks that provide the structural skeleton for concrete.
Dimensions of the three containers in the Mundo Series:
Small Bowl Shape: 36" diameter x 17" high
Large Bowl Shape: 48" diameter x 23" high
Vase Shape: 30" diameter x 46.5" high
Kornegay Design's cast concrete site furnishings are made with the intent of providing long-term value and beauty, and to withstand extreme weather environments and heavy pedestrian traffic.
