Grab your sketchbook and drawing tools for a unique art adventure in a Rhyolite Ghost Town! Join us on Saturday, November 11 from 10 am to 12 pm as we capture the abandoned ruins and rugged natural beauty of this historic gold mining town.
Rhyolite rose to prominence in the early 1900s during Nevada’s bullfrog mining district boom. Today it stands a haunting ghost town filled with remnants of a lively past. We’ll sketch crumbling buildings, old mining equipment and the rugged Mojave landscape.
Don’t forget some water, something to sit on, a hat and sunscreen!
