The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Las Vegas Chapter is excited to announce its partnership with the UNLV AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) Chapter for Bridging The Gap: AIAS Gallery Exhibition x High School Design Awards on May 1, 2024. This unique event will showcase the exceptional talents of both high school and college-level architecture students.
The AIAS Gallery Exhibition will spotlight over 40 works from talented architecture students at the UNLV School of Architecture. This event presents an invaluable platform for aspiring architects to unveil their designs and visionary concepts. Beyond exhibition, it sparks dialogue within the architectural community, allowing high school students to connect with collegiate students shaping the built environment’s future.
Alongside the college exhibition, the High School Design Awards honors the most innovative and inspiring designs from high school students across Las Vegas. This annual competition, organized by AIA Las Vegas, aims to foster a passion for architecture, design, and sustainable development among the next generation of architects and designers. By recognizing exceptional student work, it encourages young talent to continue exploring creative ideas that could shape the built environment of the future.
While preparations are underway to make this an amazing event, we haven’t yet reached our fundraising goal for the scholarship prize money. Your generous donations and sponsorship will directly support the promising student talents, inspiring them to pursue their architectural careers. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to nurturing the next generation of design visionaries. Mark your calendars and join us in supporting the future of architecture in Las Vegas. Your presence and participation will not only provide valuable support and encouragement to these young talents but also contribute to the development of a strong AEC community in our vibrant city.
