The AIA Las Vegas’ Emerging Professionals & Young Architects Forum is excited to partner with the Northern California and Nevada Chapter of the Association for Learning Environments to tour the Northeast Career Technical Academy on September 21st to explore the school’s innovative and functional architectural design.

The state-of-the-art facility, which opened for the 2023 Fall semester, provides students with hands-on training in various career and technical education programs including Advanced Computer Science, Architectural Design, Automotive Technology, Business Management, Construction Technology,  Energy Technology, Medical Professions, and more.

We’ll discuss how choices in layout, materials, lighting, and other elements were made to optimize student learning and create spaces adaptable to future needs.

The Emerging Professionals and Young Architects look forward to exploring this local educational facility with A4LE and discussing how its design sets students up for success. The tour represents a great opportunity to connect with the next generation of architectural talent!
