Ice Age Fossil State Park is a 315-acre state park in North Las Vegas, Nevada on the northernmost fringe of the metropolitan area. It is located adjacent to the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument near Willie McCool Regional Park. The park saw its grand opening on January 20, 2024.
The park features fascinating fossil beds and desert landscapes perfect for sketching. There are trails throughout the park that provide unique vantage points.
All skill levels are welcome. Please bring your own drawing supplies along with sun protection, something to sit on, and water. No RSVP needed, just show up!
