The new West Las Vegas Library is a 41,400 sf. facility designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2025. The library will feature flexible spaces to serve the community, incorporating design elements inspired by the desert landscape and sustainable approach.

The library’s welcoming design features a lobby that opens into a courtyard, evoking the charm of traditional Southern porch entrances. A central courtyard, along with pre-function spaces and a public plaza, will provide venues for civic and community events. This state-of-the-art facility will include multimedia and innovation labs, an art gallery, 3,400 sf. multipurpose/ event center, meeting rooms, and dedicated partnership spaces accessible after library hours.
