The Placemaking Committee focuses on best practices for creating vibrant and high quality places where people can work, live, and play.
With a people-centered approach, the committee aims to accelerate placemaking as a way to create a thriving, sustainable, healthy, resilient, and inclusive community in Southern Nevada while fostering a new kind of triple bottom line: People, Profit, Planet. promotes

Goals:
- Educate design and development professionals on current trends, research, and best practices related to improving the built environment
- Advocate for policies that empower design and development professionals to create more energy efficient, healthy, resilient, and sustainable buildings and communities
- Be engaged in the community and build trust between design professionals and community members
