The Emerging Professionals and Young Architects Committee supports emerging professionals (EPs) who are recent graduates or interns working towards licensure and young architects (YAs) who have been licensed for less than 10 years. It provides professional development through mentorship, networking, and promoting the value of emerging professionals and young architects in the architecture industry.
Goals:
- Provide resources and opportunities for mentorship, networking, and education for students, emerging professionals, young architects, and associate members in partnership with AIA Nevada Fellows and AIAS
- Prepare EPs for successful completion of ARE exams through study groups, workshops, mock exams, etc.
- Empower EPs/YAs to become leaders in their firms, communities, and profession through leadership training programs
